Award-winning freelance photographer based in Coastal Georgia

My passion for photography started at an early age. I began shooting at 9 years old using a Kodak Brownie and had my first dark room shortly thereafter. Back in those days there were no smart phones with cameras. Hard to imagine these days, but most children didn’t photograph everything and everyone around them all day long. Over the years, my work has included images in many genres. Having lived, worked and traveled internationally allowed me the opportunity to explore unique subjects mostly across Western Europe and the Americas. I served The Landings art community at The Landings on Skidaway Island in Coastal Georgia as President of the Landings Art Association (LAA) 2003-2004 and headed the production of the LAA's first website that was launched in 2004. Participating sporadically in LAA exhibits since 1998 including as "Artist of the Month", my images have been awarded several 1st Place Blue Ribbons in Photography, a "Best of Show" and a “People's Choice” at the annual juried Spring Art Shows. I exhibited my work at the various LAA venues as well as in commercial galleries and have been published in a number of magazine issues. The Landings residents and visitors can enjoy my 6 Photo “Murals” adorning the walls of the Palmetto Clubhouse Ballroom at The Landings Club since it was remodeled in 2014. Many of my prints grace the walls of private collections.
